Trudis Liit of GMA7 started its pilots episode last June 28 at the same time with the Magkaribal by ABS-CBN. It was a face-off between the energetic five year old girl Jillian Ward, who will play Trudis Liit and the combined power of Gretchen Barretto, Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsay. Another David against Goliath match!

The new network will broadcast “The Price Is Right” is buying out Willie Revillame’s contract from ABS-CBN, the producer of his lone show “Wowowee.” The game show is scheduled for airing on the network on July 2010, which aims to be the fourth largest network in the country. A diversified corporation had purchased in this network to solidfy their finances.

This acquisition seems to be the solution to bind Willie in the transfer to this new network. The contract has still 18 months to go or until November 2011.

Willie plans to hold a meeting with ABS-CBN president and COO Gabby Lopez on Monday, May 24.

For now, Willie is using his free time after the meeting in Macao, China playing golf. Elected Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson, Edgar Mortiz, and unidentified advisers attended these said meetings.

Edgar is Willie’s best friend / confidant, he is the brother-in-law of ABS-CBN

Willie keeps his words,“Nanawagan ako sa management ng ABS-CBN, huwag nyo namang payagan na tinitira ang show. Ang laki ng kita ng wowowee para sa ABS. Mamili na kayo. Kapag hindi ninyo ‘yan tinanggal, ako ang magre-resign dito sa wowowee! Tandaan ninyo ‘yan!” Willie said a few weeks ago ( May 4,2010).

Willie’s letter to Gabby Lopez dated May 12, transmitted around the time Gabby tried to arrange a meeting with him, which he failed to attend as he had made arrangements to fly to Macau.

Said letter is not a resignation letter but a request to be released from his contract with ABS-CBN.

By the tone of said letter, Willie implied he’s no longer wants to return as “Wowowee” host, keeping his word to leave the show if Jobert Sucaldito is not removed by the network.  Click here to read the letter.
