Are they not punished? As they get older they may be allowed to cross that road and won't get punished. If the Church says we can't eat meat out of respect to Jesus and His death for us. We can expect punishment if we do. If the Church say we can eat meat except for Good Friday. Then eating meat is ok except for Good Friday, is that not so? When drinking and driving was allowed you never got punished. Now it is not ok to drink and drive and you can go to jail for it. You can get fined for not warring a seat belt. That was never so when I was growing up. Rules change and we need to change or we can expect problems. The point being yes mean yes and no means no. What's the problem? I don't make the ruler or the laws. I just have to listen to them; weather it's God law or man made law. When you tell a child not to cross the road and they do.
