The actress first confirmed her separation from Miranda in an interview with Philippine Star’s Ricky Lo published on Thursday, February 7. In the interview, Alice cited “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of their separation.

In the said interview, the Kapatid star said they felt the marriage was “beyond saving” January of 2012 and that the separation was a mutual decision. The divorce case is filed in Canada, where Alice was based before she returned to  showbiz in 2011.

In a recent press interview for the upcoming soap opera “Never Say Goodbye,” Alice said she’s in the process of “moving on.”

Very difficult

“It’s very difficult, but I am moving on,”  she  told members of the press in an interview for her upcoming show “Never Say Goodbye.”

Alice also said, “What I want this year is emotional healing na lang siguro. There are a lot of things that happened towards the last quarter of 2012… personal disappointments and unfulfilled expectations. I won’t elaborate pero that last quarter was difficult for me.”

She added,  “This 2013 is really just giving my heart a break.”

Her family and stable stream of work in the Philippines have helped her deal with the separation. Besides a major role in “Never Say Goodbye” (which premieres Monday, February 11), Alice has an upcoming project for  Viva Films.
