3 oil firms cut prices of diesel, gasoline products
MANILA, Philippines - Independent oil firms Flying V, Seaoil, and UniOil Petroleum Philippines Inc (UPPI) announced on Wednesday a rollback on the prices of their diesel and gasoline.
A radio report said Flying V slashed on Wednesday noon the prices of their diesel and gasoline by P1 per liter.
The price reduction brought down the price of diesel to P30.97 per liter for public utility jeepneys and P31.97 for other motorists.
Meanwhile, UniOil will cut back on their diesel prices by P4 per liter starting 2 p.m. on Wednesday. On the prices of their gasoline, P5 to P7 will be slashed. Once the rollback is implemented, the prices of the different types of gasoline from UniOil will be sold between P31.37 and 31.99 per liter.
Seaoil, through its spokesman Rey Jimenez, said they would rollback the prices of their fuel products (gasoline, diesel, and kerosene) by P1 per liter also effective 2 p.m. Wednesday. - Mark Merueñas, GMANews.TV
